Twentybritt
A blog whose link was sent out to a circle of my close friends the night before my 20th birthday. This blog was pieced together over weeks while doing my coursework at UCSD.
On this blog I mentioned the work of T.S. Eliot and their work “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock”. The notable themes of love, dangerous passivity, and the passage of time were relatable to my own life at the moment and I was inspired to channel that sentiment into an interpersonal project.
Towards the end of the blog, friends were redirected to a page containing a collage of their photos. Each photo displayed a password protected link that could only be unlocked with an inside joke only they would know the answer to. Once unlocked, those friends would be able to see letters I’ve written for each of them about my appreciation for them and how they’ve impacted my teen life. The blog still exists to this day but the pages containing their letters has since been removed in protection of their privacy.
